Hi - I am an artist and designer living in Virginia. I started my career in the early 90’s as an Art Director for a retail company. I loved the fast-paced creative environment - running from the studio to photo shoots and press checks!

But along came the children and I decided to refocus my energies to painting - I have a degree in Fine Art after all! For the past eighteen years, I have been painting commissioned work for private, government and corporate clients. I have exhibited widely and won awards. My work is currently displayed with various collectors across the country.

Originally from rural New England - my inspiration stems from a love of the land and nature. My work speaks of memories of mountains and rolling hills split by sparkling rivers and covered by lush green forests and of days spent in rainbow-like gardens. As an adult I have been lucky to live in and travel to many places that have informed and inspired me. I pull from memories of the California coastline, the southern tidewaters, the desert landscape, the Maharee peninsula of Ireland and of course New England.

Today I continue to paint in my studio but also have returned to my design work. I enjoy creating illustrations and designs for all kinds of products - greeting cards, stationery, textiles, paper party goods and home decor. I work in both traditional and digital mediums.

Adding the final detail to our master bath remodel - wallpaper! I settled on my Pomegranate Block Print in this soft beige.
