Michele Norris, born in New Hampshire, 1967.
Born and raised in rural New Hampshire, Michele Norris, began painting as a young child. Michele attended the University of New Hampshire and graduated with a bachelor of Arts in Fine Art. She then completed advanced studies in Graphic Design. She realized success as an Art Director in the fashion industry and as a freelance designer. After the birth of her children, Michele returned to her original passion ~ painting.
For the past eight years , Michele has been painting commissioned work for private clients and participating in exhibitions. Her work is currently displayed with various collectors in Arizona, California, North Carolina, Virginia and New Hampshire.
Michele paints in various genre with color assuming a fundamental role. Graphic compositions, a unique color "patching" technique and painterly touch describe the energy in the images she is inspired to paint.
Today Michele paints in her studio at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton, VA.
